Welcome to Peak F amily Medicine. Our practice is dedicated to providing you with exceptional medical care in a compassionate and caring environment. As family medicine physicians, we specialize in providing continuing and comprehensive health care for the entire family: men, women (including routine gynecology) and children of all ages. INFLUENZA: We have given all of our seasonal vaccine out and have more on back order. Once we receive more of our seasonal vaccine, we will post new info on our website. We have received our first shipment of H1N1 vaccine. Our priority will be to follow the CDC guidelines and vaccinate our patients first who are pregnant, asthmatics and young school children. She joined our staff in July of 2009 and loves to help take care of women's health, pediatrics and urgent care problems. She joins the team of care providers at Peak Family Medicine including Dr. Zonca, Emily Shupe Talley PA-C, and Leslie Mckenna NP. Our care team strives to give you high quality care in a time efficient manner. We strive to offer daily sick visits to avoid long waits. These sick visits may not always be with your regular provider, but we aim to make care available when you need it most. We also strive to be on time for your appointment. To help us achieve this please arrive on time or early for your appointment! We strive to offer the latest in preventable vaccinations for your health. Included in routine vaccines you may need include Tetanus, Influenza and Hepatitis A and B. We also offer and routine childhood vaccines. Talk with your provider if you have specific questions on which vaccine you may need or vaccine safety. We have the HPV cervical cancer vaccine. Recommended for all young women age 9-26. Contact your insurance company for coverage details! Read here for more details: www.gardasil.com We have a limited supply of the Shingles vaccine called Zostavax. Insurance usually covers this preventive immunization with an additional copay. Supplies can be limited due to manufacturing process. We encourage routine visit to your health care home for help with prevention of heart disease, cancer and diabetes.
